Goku, from the series Dragon Ball Z, is a Saiyan warrior and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise.

He first appeared in the Dragon Ball TV show (1986), which adapted the Dragon Ball manga. Goku's birth name is Kakarot, and he was sent to Earth as an infant to destroy the planet.
